Connecting to Minnal — Android

For Android phones and tablets. You'll install a certificate, then set up the Wi-Fi network with your Central Auth account.

Set up Minnal

  1. Download the Devi Nivas Certificate Authority file.
  2. Open Settings and search for certificates. Select Install certificates from storage.
  3. Choose Wi-Fi certificate and select the file. It's most likely in Downloads, open the menu icon (top left) and select Downloads. The file is named devinivas-ca-distribution-2030.crt and shows a fingerprint icon. Name it Devi Nivas CA.
  4. Go back to the main settings page and open Wi-Fi. Select MINNAL from the list.
  5. Set EAP method to TTLS and Phase 2 authentication to PAP.
  6. Under CA certificate, select Devi Nivas CA.
  7. Change Online certificate status to Require certificate status.
  8. Under Domain (required), enter radius.intranet.devinivas.org
  9. Enter your Central Auth username and password in the Identity and Password fields. Leave Anonymous identity blank.
  10. To make troubleshooting easier, change Random MAC address to Device MAC address.
  11. Tap the save or checkmark icon to connect.
