Connecting to Minnal — iOS

For iPhone and iPad. You'll install a small configuration profile, then sign in with your usual Central Auth account.

Set up Minnal

  1. Download the configuration file.
  2. Tap Allow to let your device install the profile.
  3. Go to Settings and tap the downloaded profile. Check that the organization name reads Devi Nivas, then tap Install and trust the certificate.
  4. When asked for a username and password, enter your Central Auth credentials (your SUS ID and password). Tap the blue checkmark to finish.
  5. Your device should connect on its own. If it doesn't, go to Settings → Wi-Fi and choose MINNAL from the list.

Make troubleshooting easier

  1. Go to Settings → Wi-Fi, tap the ⓘ icon next to MINNAL, then set Wi-Fi Address to Fixed instead of Private/rotating.
    • Whenever you need help, just send us the 12-character address shown on that screen.

Changed your password?

⚠

If you've changed your Central Auth password, the old profile will stop working. Remove it and set it up again using the steps above.

  1. Open Settings → General → VPN & Device Management, select Devi Nivas Wi-Fi, and tap Remove Profile. Follow the prompts, then repeat the setup steps above.
ⓘ

The Minnal profile sits under VPN & Device Management — that's just where iOS keeps Wi-Fi profiles, and it doesn't give us any way to monitor your device. It's simply the only way Apple allows Wi-Fi to be configured this way.
